The cornfields shining golden in the sun are a sight that's making this trip worth it.

Though if I'd known I'd be sharing my peach candies with everyone, I would've bought more. As it is, I'm out of candies until we get to Kaisou.

Acheron's not too worried, usually, about her terrible sense of direction. She always gets there in time, and sometimes with help. However, she promised her girlfriend she'd come back with souvenirs, so she's a bit perturbed to find herself still in America, in entirely the wrong direction.

She spots the empty van while buying herself some peach candies at a rest stop. Huh, she knows that van, she's seen it recently enough that the demon hasn't started nibbling away at it yet. That's one of the Florida team's vans.]

[She's just gonna climb inside, open her bag, and start munching peacefully. Don't mind her.]

[She'll reach the driver's door and DIVE in, slamming the door behind her. She just barely manages to put on her seatbelt before she's shoving her keys in the ignition and starting the engine]

At least she managed to get a seat on the bus around people she knew. That wasn't why she was sighing though. Her University on the East Coast was on summer semester for a little while longer so she didn't have any classes.

But she was... nervous. No one has ever gone against the Order like this before, she thought they were a myth. But something about Cu Chulainn, the team eradicator, being sent to Kaisou... there were good people stationed there like Mister Hinoki and Fugo and Ash... There's no way they could have done something this bad.

She just had a lot on her mind and anxiously gripped a the fabric of her skirt.]

[One would think that taking a truck to Kaisou is probably one of the last things to be expected from current Order Guardians. Usually it's by plane or train or perhaps even something nicer.

Then again, this isn't an assignment for any of them. There's a ruckus stirring in one of America's branches, and it is high time to see things change course. And Cereza is never one who likes things to stay still- not as Bayonetta, and not even now.

[Unlike a certain screaming metal chaos trap on its way up from Florida, some of us are too far away to simply drive up to Kaisou. Or take a bus.

And sometimes, you're not only overseas at the moment for whatever reason but also confident in your ability to bullshit that you have particular semi-urgent business at some non-Kaisou destination.

(The plan is a train ride to Kaisou afterward, it's fine.)

He and Cameron are on the plane now, and Renato is sighing deeply as he puts both of his phones on airplane mode and puts them away.]
